Representative Mike Garcia (CA-25) released a video statement on Veterans Day to honor all who have served our country.

Today is Veterans Day and on these special holidays, I always reflect on just how blessed we are as Americans to be a part of this miracle called the United States of America. 
 
We weren’t supposed to beat the British 245 years ago, and since then we have survived a couple World Wars, a Civil War, ended the cancer of slavery, and have endured through depressions, recessions, and pandemics. 
 
It sounds like a miracle, but the reality is that it is on the back of our hard-working veterans, those who went overseas to fight for us and continue to do so till this day. 
 
On this Veterans Day, please give your gratitude to a veteran and their families. The families do as much as the veterans, in many cases.
 
Be grateful to be an American, be proud of our country. God bless the United States.
 
Garcia attended the United States Naval Academy and flew over 30 combat missions during Operation Iraqi Freedom above Baghdad, Fallujah, and Tikrit.
