“I am pleased that the Department of Transportation is investing in commuter rail safety improvement here in Simi Valley,” said Garcia. “I have a long track record of fighting to improve infrastructure in our community, including securing $3 million in last year’s Appropriations package to go to the Antelope Valley Metrolink Line Track for rehabilitation efforts. I’m proud to advocate for this necessary funding that will directly impact our community by improving safety at public railway-highway crossings in Simi Valley.” Learn more about the award here. |
