Congressman Garcia Delivers Floor Speech in Support of Declassifying Information on the Origins of COVID

Representative Mike Garcia (CA-27) delivered a speech on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives in support of S. 619, a bill that would require the Director of National Intelligence to declassify information relating to the origins of COVID-19.
Today, Representative Mike Garcia (CA-27) delivered a speech on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives in support of S. 619, a bill that would require the Director of National Intelligence to declassify information relating to the origins of COVID-19.
Rep. Garcia said the following during the speech: “By declassifying this information, we have a chance to ensure the seven million people who died of COVID are honored correctly. This is a chance to hold China accountable for COVID and seek Justice and a reckoning. And perhaps most importantly, a chance to prevent another man-made pandemic such as this from wreaking havoc on the planet again. “I think it’s shameful that some have politicized this issue.
